Guide

From single tables to two-digit factors

Start with one table at a time: pick it under Times table and every question uses that number, multiplied by 1 to 12, written either way round (7 × 4 and 4 × 7). When a few tables are secure, switch back to All tables and choose Easy (tables 2–10) or Medium (tables 2–12) for mixed practice.

Hard moves on to two-digit numbers multiplied by numbers up to 19. Tick Stacked (column) layout so the numbers line up by place value and there is room underneath for partial products.

Using the answer key

The key prints on its own page after the worksheet, numbered to match, so a child can work without seeing the answers. Tick Print the answer key in red if you mark with a red pen anyway.

For a class, press 5 different versions: each sheet gets its own questions and its own key, which makes copying from a neighbour pointless.

Printable sample PDFs

Try a fixed worksheet with its matching answer page. These samples use sheet 73; for other topics, settings or sheet numbers, use Print / Save PDF in the generator.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make a worksheet for just one times table?

Yes. Choose Multiplication, then pick the table under Times table. Every question uses that table, from 1 to 12, in both orders.

Do the worksheets include an answer key?

Yes. Each worksheet has a matching key on a separate page. Untick it if you do not want it printed.

How do I print 100 multiplication facts on one page?

Set Questions to 100, Columns to 4 and Print size to Small. The timed drill option adds a box to write the time taken.
