Guide
Three levels
Easy adds fractions with the same denominator, such as 2/7 + 3/7. Medium asks for a fraction in simplest form, such as 12/18 = 2/3. Hard adds fractions with different denominators, such as 1/4 + 2/3, which needs a common denominator first.
Fractions print stacked, with the numerator over the denominator, as children see them in books.
How answers are written
Answers are always in lowest terms. An answer greater than one is written as a mixed number (1 5/12), and a whole answer is written as a whole number.
